Peggle is a simple puzzle video game that was created and produced by Sukhbir Sidhu and his partner Brian Rothstein. The game is made to run on windows and Mac OS X. other versions have been made for Xbox Live Arcade, Windows Mobile and iPhone. The game was inspired by pachinko and the player shoots limited balls at colored pegs to fall marked ones and earn points. 
The game is divided into fifty-five levels with each level featuring an arrangement of about a hundred blue pegs. In the game a player needs to clear the board off 25 pegs that will turn orange while playing. After hitting the pegs the ball either will fall off or will fall on a ball catcher located on the screen’s bottom. 
The game is not only about hitting the pegs but attaining high marks by hitting as many pegs with one shot. Points in this game are gained by falling the pegs. The more pegs are hit by a single shot the higher the points awarded. If the orange peg is hit the player earns x10 points also a peg turns purple and is hit the player will earn extra points.
